We have begun construction on this home in partnership with Angela and Lucas Geier and their five children. People of all skill levels are welcome; part of our mission is teaching construction skills.

We welcome volunteers to the site on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact the Vernon County Volunteer Coordinator, Joann O'Connor.

The Fine Print

We require that all volunteers sign and submit a Liability Waiver for each house and/or project on which they work.

Please download, read and sign the Release and Waiver of Liability Form (PDF).
If you are younger than 18, the Release and Waiver of Liability Form for Minors (PDF) signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Bring the signed waiver with you to the work site. We also have copies available on site. You will NOT be able to work without signing the waiver.

Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and are availalbe at the Habitat ReStore, Westby Co-op Credit Union, Kwik Trips in Vernon County and on Mormon Coulee Road. Drawing will be on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Vernon County Fair at the Bob Frederick Free Stage in Viroqua, WI. Winner need not be present to win.
