Habitat for Humanity - La Crosse Area

Home Dedications!

When we are done building a Habitat home, the family has completed their 350-hours of required Sweat Equity, and we have sold the home to them, we have a party - a Dedication Ceremony. The Dedication is an opportunity for the family to hold an open house, to thank the volunteers who worked on their home, and for the general public to celebrate with us and see what a Habitat home looks like.

922 Hope CourtPlease join us in celebrating with Seng Xiong and Ger Yang and their six children as they purchase their new Habitat home!  Thanks to the generous help and support of hundreds of donors and volunteers, and the hard work of Seng and Ger, the dream of homeownership has become a reality.

Seng and Ger have completed over 350 hours of sweat equity, and completed home buyer education and credit counseling classes. Now that the home is finished, Habitat for Humanity will sell it to them with a zero-interest, 30-year mortgage.

This is the fifth and final home in our Hope Court project; this neighborhood is now the home of nine adults and 27 children! We hope you will come and celebrate with us as we dedicate the 34th Habitat home built in the La Crosse Area!
