How do you want to get your board or icons?

I'll pick up a Board/Icons at the Habitat ReStore at 434 Third Avenue South in La Crosse. Stop by during store hours Wednesdays-Fridays 10am-6pm, and Saturdays 9am-3pm.

Please deliver. (A Habitat volunteer will call you to set up a time.)

How Does it Work?

The House of Hope is one of our most successful annual fundraisers. Last year we raised over $25,000!

2x4 boards are displayed at Board Host locations throughout the community. Each board has a collection box, signage, and Sharpies. Members, customers, and employees of the Board Hosts who wish to support Habitat for Humanity-La Crosse Area sign their name on the board and make a donation.

The event begins now with the distribution of the boards and collection boxes. The House of Hope Board Hosts display and promote the boards until the end of November. All the signed boards and all the money raised will be used to build a home that will be designated the 2011 House of Hope.

NEW THIS YEAR! We are introducing Paper Icons. If space is an issue and a 2x4 doesn't work, or if you are looking for a different way to support the House of Hope, we can supply you with Icons that customers and visitors can sign for $1. The icons can be hung in your store/business/office/church, and at the end of the event we'll gather them up, and they will be used to decorate the House of Hope for the Dedication Ceremony. You can do this with or without hosting a board.

Returning Your Board

We'd like to get the boards and icons back by the end of October. Drop them off at the Habitat ReStore at 434 Third Street South during business hours (Wednesday-Friday 10-6, Saturday 9-3), or give us a call at 785-2373 and we'll have a volunteer swing by to pick it up.

If you'd like to hang on to the board for a bit longer, no problem - we can be flexible.. Return it when you're ready.
