DESCRIPTION:Neighbors Day returns on April 26 this year! This annual commun
 ity event is dedicated to helping elderly and disabled neighbors prepare t
 heir yards for spring. Volunteers come together to rake leaves\, clean win
 dows\, turn garden beds\, and trim shrubs.\n\nSince its inception in 1996\
 , Neighbors Day has become a beloved tradition in La Crosse. Last year\, m
 ore than 500 volunteers helped over 200 homes\, providing much-needed assi
 stance to neighbors across the city. It’s truly a transformative day for
  the community.\n\nSign up to volunteer\n\nWe have reached the maximum num
 ber of homes we can assist with the help of our volunteers.
