Donate automobiles to help build houses

Your car donation can help a family build a home, and the hope of a better life! Car, truck, boat and RV donations help Habitat for Humanity build houses in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable shelter. Donate a car, truck, boat, RV or other vehicle to Habitat's Cars for Homes™ vehicle donation program by calling 1-877-277-4344 or visiting www.carsforhomes.org

Thank you and God bless you.

New Year - New Homes

In the next month or so we will begin construction on the first of two Habitat homes scheduled in the La Crosse area in 2008.

The first home will be at 1118 Liberty Street on the north side of La Crosse. The city of La Crosse is donating the land, and the home currently standing on the site will be demolished to make way for a new single family home in partnership with Ka Ying Yang and Bao Thao and their seven children.

The second home will be built in Habitat's Hope Court neighborhood and will be sponsored by Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with James Drusch and his son.

If you'd like to be notified when we need volunteers on the construction site, please send us an email and we'll let you know!

 Building on Youth
For Kids Ages 5-18:

Kids can be involved, too! We require that a child be at least 16 years old to work on construction of a Habitat home.

However, there is other important work that can be done by kids under 16 - get involved with "Building on Youth". Click here for more information!
