ReStore Assistant

The ReStore Assistant is responsible for overseeing the ReStore’s day-to-day retail sales, receiving, and donation operations. S/he will provide leadership to volunteers, screen donations, and ensure a smooth flow of products from intake to post-sale. S/he will also act as the Manager on duty as needed.

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Must be available to work shifts during ReStore hours, Tuesday through Saturday.

Fund Development VISTA - AmeriCorps

​The VISTA will develop fundraising programs that will increase the capacity to build and repair homes within our five-county service area. Project objectives include: 1) Creating a sustaining donor program to generate a steady source of income to help programs and operations. 2) Building a major gift program to encourage existing donors to increase their giving and identify potential new major donors. 3) Developing a cost-effective replicable plan to expand the organization’s annual appeal campaign.4) Establishing a donor appreciation plan to encourage repeat giving and larger gifts.

In addition to the standard VISTA benefits, this position includes a $100/month housing subsidy and a 30-hour work week.

RePair Supervisor

The Repair Supervisor leads housing rehabilitation projects, including teams of both skilled and unskilled individuals as part of Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region's Repair Program. This program provides repairs on homes with a focus on emergency, accessibility, and aging-in-place repairs. Responsibilities include inspection, estimating, and project invoicing, as well as project organizing and execution, and the orienting of staff and volunteers on each project site.

RePair Specialist

The Repair Specialist works directly with the Repair Supervisor to rehabilitate homes in our community for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse's Repair Program. This program provides repairs on homes with a focus on emergency, accessibility, and aging-in-place repairs. This is an opportunity to get direct experience in all areas of the construction trade.
