Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region, and you will play a vital role in our mission to create a community where all feel they belong. We offer volunteer opportunities on the construction site, at the ReStore, on ReClaim or RePair crews, and at the office.

Construction
Want to swing a hammer to help build a home for a family in need? You don't need any construction experience - we'll teach you everything you need to know and provide you with the tools to get the job done safely.
Build site volunteer hours are typically weekdays with morning and afternoon shifts.
ReStore
Join the team at the La Crosse Region’s go-to discount home improvement store. Volunteers work as cashiers, receiving assistants, merchandisers, material recyclers, and donation pick-up drivers.
ReStore volunteer hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 6pm.
ReClaim
If you like salvage, reuse, and taking things apart, this is the role for you! ReClaim volunteers remove items like cabinets, appliances, doors, and flooring to reduce waste and reuse quality materials. ReClaim projects are always interesting and never in the same place for very long.
ReClaim hours vary by project. Shifts are typically weekdays between 8am and 3pm.
RePair
RePair volunteers play an important role in improving the safety and accessibility of local homes. You’ll assist with a wide range of home improvement projects, like installing handicap accessible ramps and railings.

Sustainability
Get outside! Our ReStore property features a beautiful native landscape, and we need your help to keep it in good shape. Volunteers also support lawn maintenance and gardening for our ReNew the Block program.

Office
Do you have a skill that would help us stay organized and promote Habitat’s mission? Volunteering at our office (located at the ReStore) is a great way to be involved in our efforts and participate in events, committees, fundraising, and advocacy work.
Office volunteer hours are Tuesday - Friday 9am - 4pm.
Special Events
We host many events each year and we are always happy to have volunteers help us to coordinate, plan, and execute the events.
