Two new homes, dozens of garden plots, and community green space for all to enjoy: Habitat for Humanity has launched a series of projects on the corner of 10th and Division Streets in La Crosse's Washburn Neighborhood.
Project overview
946 Division Street
Habitat is giving new life to a 100-year-old home. Moved from just down the block, this house features original hardwood floors, beautiful woodwork, and an inviting front porch.
With the help of local tradespeople and volunteers, we will update this house with modern features. Join us on the jobsite and be part of this home's story.
508 10th Street
This lot will be home to a high quality, energy efficient modular home. New factory-built housing technology allows developers like Habitat for Humanity to build more homes more quickly, meeting the critical need for housing in our community.

Washburn Gardens
Together with the neighborhood, we are reviving the Washburn Gardens on Division Street. This site will include dozens of plots with updated features and shared amenities.
New garden spaces will build on the legacy of community gardening in this neighborhood and will reflect the vision and input of neighbors.

Habitat homeowners
Zang, Xia, and family
Zang, Xia, and their children will move into the rehabbed house at 946 Division Street when it's complete. They are excited to have space for their four young kids to play and grow up.
Ebony and family
Ebony and her family have lived in La Crosse for many years. Moving into their new home on 10th Street will allow them to deepen their roots in the community.
